Objective
ToneZone hired TheIToons to create MVP for their fitness club. This platform will offer tailored diet and exercise plan to subscribers.
Challenges
We had to design a system for three main type of users. Subscribers, Trainers and Admin. Also each subscriber will see custom diet plan according to their BMI and their goal. These plans needs to be customised according to user's progress and trainer will help them with this. We chose WordPress as CMS to create this MVP. We utilised use of popular plugins like Advanced Custom Fields, Ultimate Membership, Yoast and Elementor to create the platform.
Process
We studied the entire fitness process Tonezone offers at their club. We mapped out the parts to create online process to onboard users. After that we designed the user flow in Figma and prototyped it. After that we started implementing design using Elementor and started integrating functionality using ACF, UM and custom php programming.
Result
As a result, NewYou was born. User can join by paying a monthly subscription fees. Once new user joins their application needs to be approved by the staff. Once the application is approved, they will then see diet and exercise plans tailored to their BMI and fitness goal. Here is a demo video: https://vimeo.com/542013470
